Candidates should have passed “Xth Standard” from a recognized educational board with Science and Mathematics as subjects. The marks obtained should be 40% overall and 40% in the English language alone.

Minimum educational qualification requirement is relaxed from “Xth Standard Passed” to “VIII Standard Passed”, to the candidates who are natives of Minicoy Island belonging to Scheduled Tribe in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.

Passport required.

Age: 17.5 to 25 years (for diploma or degree holders, the age limit is extended to 27 years) of age at the time of commencement of the course.

CCMC (COOK):

After 12th Standard, Certificate course in Maritime Catering is the only short-term training program in the country, approved by Director General of Shipping which is aimed to develop knowledge, skill, and attitude required to work in the Catering Department of Merchant Ships.

Pass in 10th Standard with minimum 40% marks from a recognized Board with English as one of the subjects. Entrant must have at least 40% marks in English in 10th Standard.
OR

For Diploma or Degree holders.
Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard.
The candidates must have secured a minimum 40% marks in English in the 10th Standard exams
Note –

1. The candidate must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized Board.

2. The Diploma or degree must be recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE.
