This one-year’s course is proposed to existing Graduates in Mechanical Engineering who need to change their profession way to graduate in Marine Engineering.
The marine engineering graduate program is appropriately endorsed by the Directorate General of Shipping.

The marine engineering graduate prospectuses include subjects connected with Marine motors and broad studio rehearses.
Up-and-comers become qualified to take up a vocation adrift as a lesser/student engineer subsequent to finishing GME and

required STCW courses. Following a half year of ocean administration on board trader vessels,

they become qualified to compose Class IV Part ‘B’ assessment (Class IV Part ‘A’ assessment,

being excluded on the strength of the Degree granted). From there on a Class IV Certificate of Competency is granted by the Mercantile Marine Department, Government of India.

Thusly, they become Certified Engineer officials of the Merchant Navy and are allowed to take up worthwhile professions inside the Shipping business around the world.

ELIGIBILITY

BE or B.Tech (Mechanical or Naval Arch) from AICTE approved college/university with a minimum of 50% marks and at least 60% in English in either 10th or 10+2.written and spoken English is expected.

Obtain MEO Class II (Part A&B) COC
Sail as Second Engineer on Merchant ships for 18 months sea time.
Obtain MEO Class I COC
Eligible to sail on Merchant ships as Chief Engineer
